Sony Japan has gave birth to a new VAIO laptop, the VAIO T-series. This new notebook sports a built-in Digital TV Tuner that supports a video recording as well, so you can save all the matches of your favourite team at the World Cup 2006 event. It is powered by an Intel Core Solo U1400 processor (you can also opt-in for U1300 or Celeron processor), up to 1.5GB of RAM, 80GB of HDD with hard drive shock protection to secure your data while driving through a bad road, and 11.1-inch (1366×768) TFT LCD display. The laptop is also equipped with built-in fingerprint reader, Wireless LAN and Bluetooth connectivity, two USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, Firewire, and 3-in-1 memory card reader (SD/MMC/Memory Stick). The battery life will depend on the processor and the amount of RAM, but the best combination will give you upt o 4 hours of TV viewing and 10 hours of normal usage.

Weighs at just 1.27 kg and comes with 272 x 195 x 21 mm dimensions, Sony VAIO T-Series laptop will soon be available on the Japanese market starting from June 24th. The price for the standard configuration is $1400 or 159,800 Yen.
