Last Friday might be a good day for a German company named Hoft & Wessel. One of its latest creation, the skeye.pad XSL Tablet PC, has just got an approval for FCC. Means, soon you’ll be able to find this convertible laptop on the U.S market. Two version will be offered, one with integrated WiFI module (T23002) and other with optional WiFi connectivity through SD card (T23000). However, both models support WPA and WEP encryption.

Regarding specs, skeye.pad XSL Tablet PC features an 8.4-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800×600, a built-in dual stereo speakers, a CF/PC/SD card slot, and Windows CE.Net 4.2 OS. Apparently, the mobile device doesn’t have any keyboard, but you can still entering the text by utilizing the provided on-screen keyboard that can be accessed through an icon on the taskbar.

No words on pricing and availability.
