Sharp Internet Aquous TVWhat do you get when you combined a famous LCD TV and high-end computer? Ask Sharp Japan and the answer will be Internet Aquous. It’s their new product that combines their Aquous LCD TV with a dual core mini PC (PC-AX50M model).

Let’s talk about the PC first. Not much detail revealed by the company apart that it is powered by an Intel Duo Core T2300 processor and will run under Windows XP Home Edition operating system. A HD tuner will be included as well, and will let you record your favourite TV programme with a touch of a button. For the input device, you’ll get a wireless keyboard with a built-in mouse trackball. Not quite convenient I think (PS: I hate trackball mouse).

As for the LCD TV, it has 1366×768 resolution, 1200:1 of contrast ratio, a response time of 6ms, a 550cd/m2 of brightness, 176-degree viewing angle, and a HDMI port. Several models will be available, with the width of the screen as the difference. The price will start from 350,000 Yen for the 32-inch model, up to 550,000 Yen for the 37-inch LCD TV. According to the plan, the company will release the Internet Aquous TV on the market on May next month.
