Panasonic Letsnote CF-Y5 LaptopPanasonic recently show off their innovative new laptop, the Letsnote CF-Y5. No, it’s not about the core duo processor used by the notebook, there are already many of them on the market. It’s about the interesting drainage system built into the laptop that will protect it from the spill! Moreover, it has a waterproof sheet that keep the external hardware safe from the wet damage. Isn’t it great? Now you can safely drink your hot coffee (or use Thanko’s Drink Cooler / Heater nearby) without having to worry you would spill the water on the cases and damage the laptop.

The Panasonic Letsnote CF-Y5 laptop is powered by an Intel L2300 (1.5GHz) Core Duo processor, up to 1GB of RAM, up to 60GB of hard disk drive, built-in Ethernet, and 802.11a/b/g wireless connectivity. It is equipped with a 14.1-inch (1400×1050 resolution) LCD screen, a DVD burner, a PC slot, SD card slot, and VGA output. Furthermore, this laptop offers an impressive shock resistance and the ability to survive an impact of about 220 pounds.

Letsnote CF-Y5 laptop is already available in Japan for around $2300. No worlds about US and world-wide availability yet.
