NEC ValueOne MT PC

NEC is currently offering this nice budget PC under the ValueOne range, the MT series. Want to know what you can get for a 732 EUR? Check out after the jump below.

Let’s see. First, you’ll get an Athlon 64 X2 4200+ (2.2GHz) processor with 512MB of DDR RAM and a large 250GB of HDD. Next, add a Multi DVD burner and a SiS 965L graphics card. Probably not a good choice for gamers, but it’d be a decent PC for basic usage or general productivity tasks. If you want more power, you can opt-in for a Pentium D920 (2.80GHz) processor and another 250GB of HDD (total is 500GB) to be paired in RAID 0 mode. Of course, that would take a little more money from your wallet.

Apparently, NEC doesn’t include the monitor on this ValueOne MT PC, so be sure to save some more money to buy one. Personally, I’d recommend my own 17-inch LCD monitor, but I think you should also check out the super fast ViewSonic VX931 with a single ms response time.
