We’ve just mentioned a Dual Core laptop from MSI a couple days ago, and here goes another one. And according to the folks at AkihabaraNews, this Mega Book MS-1057 is the first real ultra (compact notebook) that is powered by a Core Duo technology. However, you can choose to have the single CPU configuration if you want to. For the memory, MSI provides 2 DDR 667 memory slots that can accept up to 2GB of RAM. Other features include a 12.1-inch 1280×800 LCD screen, Audio HD (Dolby Home Theater), a DL and RAM DVD burner, and ExpressCard slot. The 2200mAh battery will give you 1.5 hours of usage. Or you can get the 4400mAh, for extra cost of course, and enjoy a 4 hours of battery life.
Measures 303 x 225 x 26 mm and weighs 1.9kg, the MSI Mega Book MS-1057 laptop has been released in Japan. So you can go there if you want to buy it.
