The Japanese company Mouse Computer has spent its time to built another affordable laptop. Under the LuvBook range, here’s the LuvBook u1200DW laptop. For $1,121 (130,000 Yen), you can have your own 12.1-inch notebook powered by Intel Core Duo T2300E (1.66GHz) processor, Intel 945GM Express chipset, Intel GMA950 graphics engine, 512MB of DDR2 RAM (expandable up to 2GB), 60GB of HDD, and dual-layer DVD burner. Not a bad configuration afterall.
Furthermore, housed inside a 299 x 220 x 24~32 mm casing that weighs 1.88Kg, the i1200DW laptop also features a 1280×800 display resolution, 802.11a/b/g WiFI connectivity, four USB 2.0 ports, FireWire, integrated 56K modem, 4-in-1 memory card reader (SD, MMC, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO Duo), IEEE1394 interface, built-in microphone, Express Card slot, and 4 hours of battery life. Windows XP Home Edition SP2 operating system will come pre-loaded, along with StarSuite 8 office productivity applications.
