HP has just introduced its latest AMD-powered laptop, the Pavilian DV6000 series. Running under Microsoft Windows XP Home/Professional Edition operating system, this notebook comes with either the dual-core Mobile AMD Turion 64 X2 or the affordable Mobile AMD Sempron processor. Users can also choose between nVidia GeForce Go 7200, nVidia GeForc Go 6150 (standard configuration), or nVidia nForce Go 430 graphics engine to deliver images to the laptop’s 15.4-inch widescreen TFT LCD display with BrightView technology.
Housed inside 6.5lbs hood, DV6000 laptop is equipped with three USB 2.0 ports, ExpressCard.54 slot, integrated Altec Lansing speakers that offers superb sound experience, 5-in-1 media card reader, and IEEE1394/Firewire port. As for the connectivity, the machine provides both 802.11b/g Wireless LAN and Bluetooth support.
HP’s Pavilion DV6000 laptop is currently available on HPStore with a retail price of US$879 for the standard configuration. And don’t forget that webcam module and dual stereo headphone jacks are also available as an add-on.
