Gateway have just unveiled their latest laptop, the NX100X model. This thin and light notebook features a 12-inch wide-screen display with 1280×800 max resolution, Intel’s Core Solo 1.06Ghz or 1.2GHz processor (why not Dual Core??), and Intel GMA graphics chipset. Well, not quite the top of the notch for todays laptops standard. The recently release Toshiba’s Satellite M100 notebook is probably much better than this NX100X. It might be sufficient enough to run general productivity tasks like writing office document or such, but don’t expect it to work (properly) with 3D graphics editing software or advanced 3D games.
