Gateway M285-E Convertible NotebooksHere’s the second new laptop from Gateway, the M285-E series. Like the CX210 series, this notebook also features a nice combination between laptop and Tablet PC. Powered by an Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology with Intel Core Duo processor of course, the M285-E offers a Digital Pen Computing – which mean you use your handwriting to store notes, draw diagrams, and even write documents – , a 14-inch widescreen magnesium LCD display, and a long battery life (up to 8 hours of usage). According to The NPD Group’s data for the weeks of October 9, 2005 through March 26, 2006, Gateway has took more than half (54%) of the Tablet PC market with their Convertible Notebook products.
