Fujitsu Lifebook Q Notebook

Fujitsu Lifebook Q LaptopFujisu recently announced their new kids on the block, the Q series, under their Lifebook brand. This light and compact laptop (only 2cm thick and 985g weighs) can handle a pressure of 200kg on the casing. Apparently, Fujitsu want to develop the strongest notebook outthere and beat Panasonic Let’s and Toughbook that can (only) resist 100kg of pressure. But apart from disaster factor, I honestly don’t see any reason why my laptop should be able to do that.

Back to the Lifebook Q laptop. Measures 297×219x19.9mm, it offers a 12.1-inch (1280×800) LCD screen, a Core Solo U1400 Yonah 1.2Ghz processor, 512MB of RAM (expandable up to 1GB), a (small) 20GB 1.8″ HDD, and a battery life of 4.5 hours.

Btw, along with the Q series, Fujitsu has also announced several other new series under the Lifebook brand – the S, B, H, E and C. We don’t have much detail about them yet, but don’t worry. As soon as we get some information in our hand, we’ll spill them out.
