After the LifeBook N6210 and A3110, here goes the A6010 laptop. As mentioned earlier, Fujitsu seems to be in a good mood and presents a trio of new Lifebook series notebooks. The A6010 itself is a 15.4-inch Merom-based machine, powered by an intel 945GM graphics engine with up to 224MB of shared system memory, a generous 4GB of RAM, a 120GB of PATA HDD, and a dual-layer DVD burner. The base configuration is set to use Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 processor, but consumer can purchase the old Core Duo Yonah T2050 CPU if they don’t want a super-fast mobile PC.

When it comes to connectivity, the Lifebook A6010 laptop provides Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG WiFI support, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth, and integrated 56K modem. Furthermore, it is equipped with three USB ports, Firewire port, VGA-out, PCMCIA slot, ExpressCard slot, and a 4-in-1 media card reader. Last, its 4-cell battery delivers the juice for up to an hours and forty-five minutes of usage.

Weighs 6.05lbs, Lifebook A6010 notebook runs on either Windows XP Media Center or Professional Edition operating system. Future Windows Vista OS is supported as well. The laptop is available now for $1,149 (base configuration) through Fujitsu direct sales force, website, channel partners and select retail outlets.
