Fujitsu announced three new Lifebook laptops, the previously mention N6210, this A3110, and A61010 model. Unlike the other two notebooks, the 15.4-inch A3110 machine is powered by AMD’s dual core processor, the 1.8GHz Turion 64 X2 TL-56. Inside the hood, there’s a 2GB of DDR2 RAM, a 120GB of PATA HDD, a dual-layer DVD burner, and an ATI Radeon XPress 1150 graphics engine with 256MB of shared memory.

On the connectivity side, the Lifebook A3110 laptop is packed with Bluetooth, integrated 56K fax/modem, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, and Atheros Super AG WiFI. On its side, you can find 3 x USB ports, IEEE 1394 Firewire port, MemoryStick/SD/xD card reader, PC Card slot, and an Express Card slot. Furthermore, it also has an integrated fingerprint scanner along with a spill resistant full-size keyboard and a standard 4-cell lithium-ion unit which provides up to 75 minutes of battery life.

Runs on either Windows XP Media Center Edition or Professional Edition operating system, this Vista-ready laptop is retailed for $1,399 (base configuration) and available through Fujitsu direct sales force, website, channel partners and select retail outlets.
