Epson Endeavor LX7700b Desktop PC

The Endeavor LX7700 is the latest low cost desktop PC from Epson. And like other entry-level PC nowadays, it uses Linux operating system. To be precise, it comes with TurboLinux FUJI Basic OS. With price set at just 349 EUR, LX7700 offers a Celeron D326 processor, Intel 945G Express chipset, 256MB of DDR2 RAM, 40GB of HDD, and built-in 3D graphics chipset with up to 128MB of shared system memory supporting up to 1600×1200 display resolution. On the surface you can expect a CD-ROM drive, IEEE1394 port, Ethernet LAN, six USB 2.0 ports, and Mini DSub 15 pin terminal. Measures 179 x 406 x 368 mm and weighs 11kg, this dekstop PC supports 5.1-channel sound system and also provides a security lock slot.

Btw, if you plan to use Windows XP operating system (and if you have some extra cash on your pocket), you’d better upgrade Endeavor LX7700b Desktop PC first and grab the Pentium 4 processor and install more memory on it. It supports up to Pentium 4 670 processor and 3GB of RAM.
