Dell To Release Inspiron 1525 and 1526 Laptops

Dell is going to release two new laptops next month, the “Inspiron 1525″ and “Inspiron 1526″ models. Both 15.4-inch notebooks (either WXGA, WXGA+, or WSXGA+ panel), being the successor of Inspiron 1520 and 1521, aimed at small businesses and low-end consumer market. The first one is built on top Intel Santa Rosa platform and features an up to 4GB of main memory, SATA hard drive, WiFI, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, 4 x USB 2.0 ports, FireWire, Ethernet, integrated 56K modem, ExpressCard slot, and a 8-in-1 media card reader. Customers can also opt-in for Blu-ray reader, WWAN connectivity, and HDMI connector. The second model, Inspiron 1526, come with almost similar specs, except that it is powered by AMD processor and ATI Radeon X1270 graphics engine.
Dell Inspiron 1525 and 1526 laptops weigh 6.6-pound each and pre-loaded with either Windows Vista or UBuntu Linux OS. No words on pricing though.
