Samwell recently presented “PC657″, its latest 7-inch (800×480, touchscreen) ultra mobile PC powered by VIA C7M (1.2GHz) processor, a 512MB of DDR2 RAM (expandable up to 1GB), CMOS webcam module, and pre-installed Windows XP Professional Edition operating system. This semi-rugged mobile device supports 802.11b/g WiFI and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivities, allowing seamless wireless connection. Users can also add additional module via its PCMCIA slot, such as DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcast – Handheld) receiver (watch TV OTG) and GPS receiver (navigation). Other opt-in feature is the biometrics fingerprint reader for enhanced security protection.

Regarding storage, users can choose between standard HDD (30/60/80GB) or built-in CF card (2/4/6/8GB). SD/MMC media card slot is included, so you can also store your data externally.
