[CeBIT] TabletKiosk Unveils Two Semi-Rugged Mobile Computers

TabletKiosk showcased two semi-rugged mobile computers during CeBIT 2007 event in Hannover, Germany. One is the eo TufTab v7112XT UMPC and other is the Sahara TufTab i310XT Tablet PC. Let’s check out the ultra mobile computer first. Weighs at just 1.97lbs, it is powered by a VIA C7-M (1.2GHz) ULV CPU and VIA VX700 chipset, supported by a 1GB of RAM, a 40GB of HDD, and an integrated S3G VIA UniChrome Pro II IGP graphics. The display is quite big, at 7-inch width, and supports dual-screen output as well. Other features include a CMOS camera, USB port, SD/MMC card reader, biometrics fingerprint reader, and a bunch of connectivity options. As for the tablet PC, there’s no detail info about the specs yet.
Both semi-rugged UMPC and Tablet PC come with a strong hood, protecting the device from unconditional weather, like rain, dust, extreme temperatures, humidity, and such. No worry with accidental drop or strong vibration as well.
