Samsung proudly presents Q1 Ultra, the new generation of Samsung’s Q1 UMPC, during CeBIT 2007 show in Hannover, Germany. Based on Intel’s forthcoming Santa Rosa notebook platform, the ultra mobile computer features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor running at a mere 800Mhz, an Intel 965 chipset, and an Intel GMA3000 graphics engine with DirectX 9.0c support. It weighs at just 1.5lbs, which is slighly less than the weight of Q1, 1.7lbs. There’s a half-inch of height cut too.

More detail will follow once the company officially announced the Q1 Ultra UMPC to public.
