After the Winnie The Pooh TV, Runat announced another TV based on the Disney character, the Cars TV. Measures 440 × 440 × 430 mm and weighs 13.2, this 14-inch CRT TV is also equipped with a DVD player that supports DVD+-R/RW, VCD, DVD, Audio CD, and even JPEG images. The DVD tray is hidden on the Cars’ mouth while the speakers are inside the cheeks. Furthermore, when it does nothing, the TV will load its built-in screensaver where the eyes of the character move. The TV itself supports UHF and VHF band only and comes with an earphone out jack.
Runat’s Cars TV and DVD Player is planned to hit the Japanese market in early July, at the same time the movie release in Japan, for a price tag of 26,040 Yen or $225.
