I want to replace my wired network LAN and go into wireless connection next month. But first, I’ll have to find a wireless router to replace my old ADSL Modem Router. And reading the news about Belkin’s N1 Wireless Router that wins Laptop Magazine’s Ultimate Choice Award makes me think about getting this cool black-colored baby to my home. The N1 line itself consists of a Wireless Router (F5D8231-4), Wireless Notebook Card (F5D8011), and Wireless Desktop Card (F5D8001). It promised to deliver a high perfomance network on which you can run multiple applications simultaneously without any connection drops. And the promise probably not just a marketing gimmick since Laptop Magazine agrees with it and praises “smooth 150 Mbps of throughput and long-distance coverage of about 1,500 feet or more.”
