Here’s the new laptop from Averatec, the 1050 model. Weighs 1.6kg, this notebook is powered by a Pentium M ULV 733 (1.1GHz) processor, 512MB of RAM, 80GB of hard disk drive, and an Intel Extreme Graphics 2 chipset that bring graphics to its 10.6-inch WXGA widescreen display. The Averatec’s 1050 laptop also equipped with a WiFI support, analogue video-out, 4-pin FireWire, two USB 2.0 ports, a DVD/CD-RW combo drive, and a 4-in-1 memory card reader (MMC, SD Card, Memory Stick and Memory Stick Pro). It doesn’t support Bluetooth though.
Priced at £949, the Averatec 1050 laptop is designed for general / basic computing usage.
