The 12.1-inch W5F laptop from Asus is powered by an Intel Core Duo processor (T2300/T2400/T2500/T2600), Intel 945GM Express chipset, up to 1.5GB of DDR2 RAM, and up to 120GB of HDD. Like the W7J laptop, this machine also has a Color Shine widescreen display and embedded proprietary Splendid Video Intelligent Engine, with the additional Crystal Shine technology for vibrant image presentation. No information about the graphics engine, but it said that the notebook will come with an advanced graphics that promised to deliver smooth video display without a glitch. Hmmm, Maybe any of nVidia’s GeForce Go series?

Again, like the W7J, this laptop also features a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam, but better. The camera module can be rotated 180 degrees and gives you more freedom to use it. As for the connectivity, the W5F offers 802.11b/g Wireless LAN and Bluetooth V2.0+EDR – which is three times faster than the traditional Bluetooth – support. Measures 30.5 x 22 x 3.1 cm and weighs 1.6 kg, the laptop is also equipped with a DVD-DL Lightscribe, ExpressCard slot, and exclusive LiveFrame software for easy image management.
