Acer is going to release the 8.9-inch Aspire One Mini Notebook PC in North America market starting from the third quarter of 2008. Powered by an Intel Atom processor, the laptop features a 512MB / 1GB of main memory, an 8GB of NAND flash storage module or an 80GB of hard drive, a 5-in-1 media card reader, and a display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 and LED backlight. Rumor also said that it’d come with built-in webcam module, a 95% full-size keyboard with touchpad, a 802.11b/g WiFI connectivity, Ethernet LAN, three USB ports, a VGA output, and a SD media card slot.
Acer Aspire One Mini Laptop will run on either Linpus Linux Lite or Windows XP Home edition operating system.
