T-Mobile Offers SideKick iD Cell Phone

T-Mobile has just officially released SideKick iD, the downgraded version of Sidekick 3 cell phone. Called SKiD, this handset retains almost all the good stuff found on Sidekick 3, including impressive instant messaging capabilities (AIM, YM, and Windows Live), text messaging, HTML web browser, wireless email, full QWERTY keyboard, and trackball. It even has better battery life with up to 5.3 hours of talktime and 6 days of standby time. What missing are the built-in MP3 player and camera module. Its plastic case seems to be cheaper as well.
T-Mobile Sidekick iD cell phone is scheduled to hit the store in April 25. It can be purchased for just $99.99 which is half the price of the original Sidekick 3.
