Yup, it’s official now. Sony Ericsson has recently announced the new Walkman series cell phone, the W810 model. All of the rumor we’ve posted 2 days ago are correct, such as the 20MB onboard memory with memory stick card slot (up to 2GB), quadband (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900) GSM network support, 2 megapixel camera module with autofocus and 4x digital zoom, and EDGE support.

Sony Ericsson W810i has ability to copy licensed audio files and access Music Download services, as well as video recording. This cell phone supports GPRS class 10, USB 2.0, Bluetooth, and Infrared connectivity. Other features include 1.9-inch (176×220) 256K colors TFT LCD, built-in speakerphone and integrated Media Player that can play MP3, AAC, MPEG, and 3GPP files.

Sony Ericsson W810i will be available in Europe, Near East, Africa, America, and Pacific region. Another version, the W810c, also available in China. Both will come bundled with 512MB memory stick and start shipping in March 2006.
