Samsung recently introduced their new cell phone with an innovative motion-recognition capability, the SPH-S4000. Users will be able to control the MP3 playback; including the beatbox, music box, and motion effect functions; by simply moving the hand or phone. This motion sensing capability will surely add a new dimension to mobile games and introduces a variety of new entertainment features.
Samsung SPH-S4000 mobile phone is also come with 1.3 megapixel camera module and health monitoring function. The built-in pedometer will count the numbers of user’s steps every day. It is also equipped with temperature monitor and compass, that will be quite handy during travel or outdoor activity. For the display, the phone has as 1.76-inch (176×200) 262K colors TFT LCD.
Measures 88 x 46 x 28 mm and weighs 100g, this unique phone will be available for US$400 at the end of this year in Korea. A nice Christmas gift, I said.
