Samsung SCH-A990 Cell Phone

Samsung and Verizon Wireless have announced the SCH-A990 cell phone, the world’s first mobile handset embedded with 3.2 megapixel digital camera module. The high-quality camera lets users to take high-resolution photos with similar print quality as a digital camera. Up to 1 hour of movie recording is possible as well. Furthermore, still related to its multimedia capabitilies, the phone offers V CAST for viewing movie, V CAST Music for playing and download music directly from the internet to the phone, and Bluetooth connectivity for printing snapped photos wirelessly to Bluetooth-enabled printer.

Other features packed on the A990 cell phone include microSD card slot and Verizon Wireless’ VZ Navigator support that adds extra GPS navigation functionalities to the handset with mapping, audible turn-by-turn navigation, and the ability to find over 14 million points of interest. It measures 3.80 x 1.88 x 0.82-inches and weighs 4.40 ounces.
