You’ve read the Pocket LOOX N100 PMP – GPS combo, now here’s another mix on the street – the Qtek 9000 Pocket PC Phone with GPS and PDA functionalities. Runs under Microsoft Windows Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition 5.0 operating system, the device uses Intel Bulverde 520MHz processor with QTC Platinum chipset as its engine. It is equipped with 128MB of flash ROM, 64MB of SDRAM, a large 3.8-inch 640×480 65K colors transflective TFT touch LCD display with backlight LEDs and both portrait and landscape orientation support, and 1.3 megapixel CMOS camera with built-in flash light.

As a phone device, the Qtek 9000 features a tri-band GSM/GPRS (900/1800/1900) network support – as well as WCDMA/UMTS (2100MHz) network support – , internal antenna, USIM. 3V of UICC, and OTA (over-the-air) programming. Measures 81 x 127.77 x 25 mm and weighs 285 grams, it provides a wide-range of connectivity options, includingInfrared/IrDA, Bluetooth, Wireless LAN, and USB 1.1. A SD/MMC memory card is supported as well. Claimed as the world’s first 3G mobile device by the company, there’s no words about price and availability yet.
