Motorola recently presented the enhanced version of the MOTO Q PDA Phone. Aimed at enterprise users, this new handset boasts an enhanced security software, an extended-life battery, an additional mobile accessories, document editing (MS Word) capabilities, direct shipment services and enterprise call center support. The company has also enabled an enterprise-specific order portal and staging services to preload software.

The security solution incorporated on MOTO Q PRO PDA Phone is provided by Mobile Security Platform (MSP) component of the Motorla MOTOPRO Mobility Suite. It protects the device from hackers and common attack by building a personal firewall and intrusion detector, as well as selective or complete data encryption, data wiping, and real-time event logging. The phone also supports enterprise VPN solutions to help safeguard enterprise data and networks, along wiht password protection feature which provides a first line of defense in the event the device is lost or stolen.

MOTO Q PRO Cell Phone runs on Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system.
