Motorola and Cingular Wireless have just announced the availibility of the Motorola C139 cell phone at Cingular’s retail stores. The palm-sized budget phone offers a dual-band (900/1800) GSM network support, 65K colors TFT LCD display with 96×64 resolution, 100 address book entries, text messaging with iTAP predictive text entry, games, monophonic ringtones with composer and download customization, and zoom fronts during dialing. Other features are calculator, curreny converter, calendar, and stop watch functions. The battery itself will provide up to 700 minuts of talk time and 450 hours of standby time.

Motorola C139 cell phone is currently retailed for $39.99, but only Cingular’s GoPhone customers can get this discounted price. Furthermore, every customers who purchased the C139 will receive a USD10 GoPhone airtime card and can start calling anyone without any annual fee or registration. That is based on GoPhone “Pay As You Go” unique service.
