Neon is one of the upcoming cell phone from LG that has been displayed at CTIA Wireless 2009 event in Las Vegas. Featuring a slide-out full-QWERTY keyboard, the handset is created for those teens who love to send text messages, chat with their friends, or socialize in social network sites. On the front side, there’s a large bright display along with several buttons for navigation purpose as well as accepting/rejecting the phone calls. On the inside, you can expect to find an integrated 2.0 megapixel camera module and music player. Other features include threaded messaging and emails. Btw, is it just me or the phone looks just like LG’s KS360?

What a joke. How much coding would it take to add touch features for the icons and moving the text cursor? MINIMAL!

Also they crippled the MicroSD so that you are REQUIRED to have your video and audio files in particular directories to see them. What a PITA!

that’s why i never bought handset from LG :) they always “forget” to include one or two important features. For example, the lack of WiFI support on KS360. What a shame…
