HTC Magic Now Available For Pre-Order

Vodafone has started taking pre-order for HTC Magic, the successor of HTC Dream a.k.a T-Mobile G1 Android (one of the first Google’s Android-powered handset). Scheduled to hit the store on May 5, you can get the phone for free if you take Vodafone’s £30 (or more) monthly plan. No other alternative purchase option at the moment, neither information regarding worldwide release. According to HTC’s website, Magic features a 528Mhz Qualcomm MSM7201a CPU, Google Adroid OS, a 512MB of ROM and 192MB of RAM, a 3.2-inch TFT LCD touchscreen display with 320 x 480 (HVGA) resolution, HSDPA/WCDMA/GSM/GPRS/EDGE network, built-in GPS navigation, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, WiFI, an integrated 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, microSD slot, digital compass, and media player. Measures 113 x 55 x 13.65mm and weighs 118.5 grams, it comes with a Li-Ion battery that provides up to 400 minuts of talktime and up to 660 hours of standby time.
