Blend Concept Cell Phone

Designed by Roman Kriheli, “Blend” is a soft and durable cell phone concept made of flexible plastic housing. Being flexible means you can bend it, drop it, throw it away, and even punch it without having to worry about breaking it apart. There’s a soft polymer insert located between the microchip module and the casing, along with a 2.75-inch (433×266) flexible display and keypad on the surface. The display iself, developed by Robert Hayes and Johan Feenstra, boasts “electrowetting” technology which allows the ink incorporated on the paper-like display to change its position when affected by electric signals. You can expect video to be played on the display since the process is quick enough to do that.
