Above (and more below) is the hands-on video for Sony Ericsson’s 12MP’s wonder – Sony Ericsson Idou. Features include a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, Xenon flash, DLNA-compatible WiFI and GPS receiver, and the new Symbian Foundation OS which is based on Symbian platform and Nokia’s Symbian S60 UI. Sounds good, but I don’t think I’m going to buy it, not after both my K810 and K850 crashed at the same time. Also, Sony Ericsson usually sets the retail price very high at the beginning of their new product sales, like the previous navigator-like X1…

I’m not a big Mortal Kombat fans as I’m more into Street Fighter. However, I can’t hardly wait for this game to be released. Yes, it’s the clash between Mortal Kombat’s and DC Universe’s world, titled “Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe“. Of course you can expect to control your favourite characters from both universe. Myself will definitely use Superman to kick Liu Kang’s ass. Anyway, from the trailer and screenshot below, you can see the fight between Sub Zero and Batman. Looks promising.

Resident Evil: Degeneration (also known as ‘Bio Hazard: Degeneration’ in Japan) is the first full-length CG animation movie based on the highly popular Resident Evil game series. Two of the confirmed characters are Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Refield. As for the story, it will take place about 7 years after the Raccoon City’s incident (RE1, RE2, RE3) which is two years after Umbrella Corporation was destroyed (RE: The Umbrella Chronicles) or one year after Ashley Graham kidnapped (RE4). The (very) short trailer shows an event where zombies are attacking SWAT officers in an airport terminal.

Resident Evil: Degeneration was first announced by Capcom and Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan on on October 29, 2007. The scheduled release date is this year. Hopefully, we don’t have to wait very long for this movie.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is the sequal to Tecmo’s popular 3D action game, Ninja Gaiden. In this game, you’ll control Ryu Hayabusa and help him avenge his clan and prevent the destruction of the human race. Ninja Gaiden 2 runs on brand new engine and sports an auto-generation health system, new enemies and locales, as well as thrilling combat built upon an extensive assortment of ninja weaponry. The trailer for the XBox 360 system looks awesome though, hopefully it’d be better than Conan (trailer).

Sony showcases the new PSP during TGS 2007 event. This portable gaming console is slighter and slimmer than its predecessor. It also comes with a handy PSP on TV” function that allows you to play the game or watch multimedia contents inside PSP on a bigger TV screen, as well as watch your favourite TV programme on PSP. The new PSP will be retailed with a suggested price of 178,000 (KRW). There’ll be three different colors during its launch (piano black, ceramic white, and ice silver), follows by three additional flavours (rose pink, lavender purple, and Felicia blue) in October.

Now here’s a trailer for a bunch of upcoming Microsoft XBox 360 titles. This compilation includes several much-anticipated games, such as Project Gotham Racing 4, Soul Calibur 4, Halo 3, Guilty Gear Overture, and Medal of Honor: Airborne. Most of them will be released very soon. Project Gotham Racing 4, for example, will hit the store in October 2007. This game sports enhanced weather and environment graphics and a host of famous cars and motorcycles. Check out the screen after the jump.

Microsoft unveild Konami’s newest Winning Eleven series, the “Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2008″, during Tokyo Game Show 2007. This game is scheduled to hit the Japan store on November 22nd and will feature advanced graphic and even smoother player motion, along with enhanced background environment, including stadium and spectators. Above is HD-quality trailer of the game’s PS3 version.

If I need one good reason to buy PS3, then this is it! “Resident Evil 5″ is the upcoming installment on Capcom’s Resident Evil saga. According to Jun Takeuchi, the game’s producer, RE5 takes place ten years after the events of the original Resident Evil. The game will explore Chris Redfield’s life during the ten year interval between the two games. During the game’s events, he is a member of a group known as BSAA, and sent to investigate an incident in a desert area that serves as the game’s setting. Takeuchi also confirmed that a female character from the series will appear in the game.

Btw, do you know that the third Resident Evil movie will be out very soon this month (September 21st to be precise)? I just happen to know today. The movie is called “Resident Evil: Extinction” and it will adapt several plot elements from Resident Evil: Code Veronica, as well as feature various characters and creatures from the game series.
