The Auto Healther Reiz DZ-270 from Dainichi is a body massage robot that will make your whole body relax and healthier. You’ll enjoy the massage from your head down to your foot. And don’t worry, the machine is smart enough to automatically adapt its speed and pressure based on the body part it’s currently massaging. “TEMPer” is a USB-based thermometer created by USBFever. Designed specifically for laboratory use, or geeks, TEMPer can analyze the current air temperature in the room and deliver the result directly on the computer (via USB port of course). The data then can be easily transferred into Word, Excel, or other apps.

HuBDIC, a Korea-based manufacturer, unveils “Dotory FS-100″, an infrared-based forehead thermometer. Not sure what the IR good for, maybe more accurate detection? Well, anyway, this thermometer is recently being showcased during Seoul Internation Fair for Mother & Baby 2007 and can be purchased for 50,000 (KRW).

As reported by Yahoo! News, Motion Computing recently unveiled C5, a stylish tablet PC designed for medical professional use. Claimed to save both doctors and nurse from as much as one hour of paperwork per day, the convertible laptop features a barcode scanner, RFID tag reader, built-in digital camera, Bluetooth, and 802.11 WiFI connectivity. All of these features are choosen after the company, together with Intel, spent over one and a half year to observe and gather feedback from doctors, nurses, and clinicians, about their preferred computer.

On the inside, the C5 Tablet PC is powered by an Intel Core Solo U1400 processor, a 10.4-inch touchscreen display, and up to 60GB of hard drive. Weighs, it is pre-loaded with either Windows Vista or Windows XP operating system, and can be purchased for ‘just’ $2,199. Almost forgot, its battery provides upt o 4 hours of usage. Not quite good though, but at least the machine comes with a top-mounted handle, so those medical professionals can easily carried it around the hospital.

An unknown U.K firm recently announced a system for your cell phone that can help you monitor your diabetes status. All you have to do is entering your daily diabetes data into the software and you’ll receive instant feedback from a medical organization or health care professional. They’ll analyze your insulin levels and if necessary, recommend an increase. You can also receive a monthly reports via phone or email.

To use the diabetes monitoring system, however, you have to pay for a monthly fee of $20 and a connection fee of the same price. Fortunately, you don’t need to have those expensive smartphones.

MSI (Micro-Star International) has developed a product to help doctors cure their patients. Called HATO, which stands for Heartbeat Audition Transceiver On-The-Go, it is a medical laptop with built-in ECG (ElectroCardiogram Analysis), thus allowing doctor (and patients) to get immediate monitoring and diagnosis on the patient’s electrocardiogram record. With the built-in 3G connectivity, the patients don’t even have to meet the doctor or go to the hospital. The company also mentioned that the notebook also lets the patient to self-administer most tests themself.

Displayed during Consumer Electronics Show 2007, MSI HATO laptop is mainly made to fight heart disease. However, no words on pricing and availability at the moment.

The PDW-70MD XDCAM HD Recorder from Sony is an optical HD recorder dedicated for the medical field. It can help doctors and surgeons to transmit high-resolution images, as well as record and capture HD videos of medical procedures on a 23GB PFD-23 XDCAM media with 1,440 x 1,080i resolution. The disc itself is sealed, thus protected from the scratch and can stand the time with minimal degradation (more than 50 years).

Priced ata around $14,995, the PDW-70MD XDCAM HD Recorder comes with an integrated 3.5-inch colors LCD display that lets users view thumbnail-sized stills of footage. Users can also quickly identify points of interest, without manually winding through hours of footage.

Pantech G-1300V cell phone features a standard VGA camera module, a 1.5-inch (128×128) 65K colors CSTN display, and nothing else. Well, maybe there are some other features, IF you count the SMS/EMS/MMS, Java, WAP, speaker phone, and polyphonic ringtone. In other words, if you don’t need the fatness thing, I don’t see any reason why you should buy this phone. Sorry Pantech, but I’ll skip this one.
