This slim drive, mainly used with netbook, measures 137 x 20 x 142mm and weighs at just 340 grams, so you can put it on your netbook bag without feeling an extra weight. Available in black and white color, the burner can record data on both DVD-DL and DVD-RAM media. Note that since it uses power from your computer’s USB port, I recommend you to use both of your laptop’s USB port (one for supplying power to the drive and another for transferring / receiving data). In my experience (I owned an external DVD burner from LG), using only one USB port for both data and power is not enough…

This external aluminium HDD enclosure features a large 1.5TB (7,200rpm) of space, which is more than enough to store my Marvel and DC comics collection…

Comes with a price tag of 50,000 Yen ($566, €400), Yano MetalWear EX 1.5TB also supports both Firewire 400 and 800 interfaces, along with eSATA and USB 2.0, thus makes it compatible with PC, Linux, and Mac computers. Not bad, huh? Unfortunately, this portable HDD case will be released next week (December 24th) in Japan and I don’t think it’d ever be released in my country. Pity me.

This is definitely a gorgeous chassis for XBox 360. Coming from Lian-Li of Taiwan, PC-XB01 boast an upper-class aluminium material with superior quality and high-safety standards. Once installed (DIY skills is a must), the case would free you from heating issues due to hot components and reduces noise from vibrating optical drives in the original case design, thanks to the 120mm rear fan that draws off the heat silently. It measures 160 x 250 x 415mm.

Excerpt from the press release:

All the Xbox 360 ports are hidden behind stylish dust covers and the ODD bay also has a spring loaded dust cover for aesthetic appeal and convenience. The unit can be placed horizontally, or vertically, depending on your needs, and the water cooling pipe holes are an option to use should you be inclined to do so. The case is designed to fit the entire Xbox 360 internals similar to the original, with the power transformer attaching from the outside.
