Twinhead Durabook N15RI Review

Twinhead Durabook N15RI NotebookTwinhead’s Durabook N15RI notebook’s key feature is its durability. Encased in a magnesium alloy shell, it is about 20 times stronger than any other laptops that comes inside the plastic shell. It has a shock protection around several vital components, including processor, memory, hard drive, etc. For more protection, it also has a lock on the optical drive to prevent the tray from opening if the eject button is accidentally pressed.

The Durabook N15RI notebook is equipped with 2.13 GHz Pentium M processor, a gigantic 2GB DDR memory, and 100GB 5,400 rpm hard drive. It comes with a double-layer DVD burner, 15.1-inches LCD screen, and support for WiFi, USB, and Firewire. For more detail specs, check out the bottom of this post.

Anyway, LaptopMag has a detail review about this notebook. An excerpt from the review:

The system’s 15.1-inch screen is very comfortable to view. It’s not as bright as the glossy screens that are becoming increasingly popular on new laptops, but its anti-glare coating is well-suited for productivity tasks like word processing, which are hard to do when ambient light is reflecting off of the screen. A maximum resolution of XGA makes the N15RI somewhat ill-suited to photo editing, but DVD movies played very smoothly in our testing.
