I just answered my own question I feel silly now. I just needed to enter the correct server name ty for the tip of the IM fix it was helpful as well

I just reinstalled my Zone Alarm Security Suite to the newest version 7.0.483.000 . I have gone to the IM settings>Advanced>unchecked Block irc. Then opened mIRC and I am still getting the unable to resolve server error? Any clue as to why? Is it still Zone Alarm or maybe it is cause I have to configure mIRC in a certain manner before use? Any help would be greatly appreciated, TY
