PS to all: if ur problem mouse appears twice as unknown device in ur device manager, you will need to repeat the procedure (reinstall, mice and other pointing devices, HID compliant mouse) for both of those

2 problems: 1. there is no reinstall option, the closest thing to it is an update driver option, 2. HID-Compliant Mouse doesn’t exist on my system apparently

Your mouse could just be dirty inside try spraying some clipper cleaner into it. This worked for me and I have no more problems…………..M
