Dell Inspiron 9400 Laptop With Dual Core CPURemember the first dual core laptop from Dell? Well, allow me to remind you. It’s the Inspiron 9400 and along with the use of Intel’s Duo Core T2400 (1.83GHz) processor, this notebook also features a 17-inch TrueLife LCD screen, 256MB GeForce Go 7800 graphic card, 1GB of 667MHz DDR2 memory (expandable up to 2GB), 60GB of hard drive, 5-in-1 card reader, Firewire, 6 USB ports, DVI port, 8x DVD+/-RW drive, and Gigabit LAN. Furthermore, there’s an instant multimedia function – that usually available on any Media Center computers – that would let users to play video and music, as well as display photo, stored on the hard disk or optical drive without having to boot up onto the OS. Measures 394 x 288 x 42 mm and weighs 3.6 kg, Dell’s Inspiron 9400 laptop is retailed for $2600.

BIOSMagazine recently posted a review of this notebook, so if you interested on the Inspiron 9400, make sure you read it first. Excerpt from the review:

Dell’s Inspiron 9400 is a very good system if you’re a multimedia fanatic, DVR junkie, or a part-time gamer. Just be sure to opt for the TV tuner and get the biggest hard disk drive you can if you intend to record TV programmes or your own videos. There are better gaming and corporate systems on the market, but for a well-rounded dual core multimedia system the Inspiron 9400 is a good value offering.
