Casio Exilim EX-S500 is an ultra compact digital camera with only 90 x 59 x 16.1mm dimensions and 115g weighs, thus making it easily fit into your pocket. It sports a five megapixels sensor and a three times optical zoom lens. Priced £215, the camera comes with 8.3mb internal memory and SD card slot for additional storage. It has a common 2.2-inch LCD screen, but no viewfinder. You can record movie in 640×480 resolution and 30fps quality.

The focusing problems I encountered with the Casio EXILIM EX-S500 are a major drawback. Although you can get round this problem most of the time by shooting in macro mode it means you may well miss the photo. This is a great shame as this is a likeable camera. It is easy to use and has minimal shutter lag.
