With the born of Centrino 2 platform, notebook PC manufacturers start to introduce their new line of Montevina-based laptops. Let’s start with Epson with their Endeavor NJ5200Pro. Along with the new processors (2.4Ghz P8600 / 2.2Ghz P8400 / 2.53Ghz T9400 / 2.8GHz T9600), the machine sports a 15.4-inch LCD screen with either 1920×1200 WUXGA or 1440×900 WXGA+ resolution, either a 512MB nVidia GeForce 8800M GTX or a 256MB 9600M GT graphics engine, up to 320GB of 5,200rpm HDD (or up to 200GB or 7,200rpm hard drive), WiFI, and DVD burner. It is also equipped with a HDMI/DVI-I/e-SATA/USB2.0 interfaces.

Epson Endeavor NJ5200Pro laptop costs between 950€ ($1500) and 1500€ ($2370).
