Asus presented three new members of its popular Eee PC series mini laptop — the Eee PC 901, Eee PC 1000, and Eee PC 1000H — during Computex 2008 event in Taipei. We’ve previously posted about Eee PC 901, so it’s time for the 10-inch Asus Eee Pc 1000. Comes with a price tag of $658 in Taiwan market, the 2.93-pounds baby features an Intel Atom processor, a 40GB Solid State Disk (SSD), a 2GB of main memory, an integrated 1.3MP webcam module, and a 7.5 hours of battery life. Two connectivity options are available: Bluetooth and 802.11 wireless. As for the OS, you’d get Linux inside.
