Clarion, a Japan-based company, yesterday released two new portable navigation systems (PNS), the DTR-P50 and DTR-P70 (picture above). These two satnav devices sport a 4.3-inch display, a 2GB of onboard storage with SDHC port for additional storage, Bluetooth connectivity, and media player supporting both audio (MP3, WMA) and video (WMV, MPEG-4) files. They are powered by a 400Mhz processor and run on WinCE 5.0 operating system.
As for the difference, the DTR-P70 GPS comes with a 1Seg TV module, allowing you to watch digital TV show as well as record them so you can view them later. This additional feature makes DTR-P70 49 grams lighter (236g) than its DTR-P50 sibling (187g).
