Garmin has just announced their plan to jump into the cell phone wagon. Their first product is called “NuviPhone”, a 3.5G handset with built-in satellite navigation capability. Scheduled to hit the store in the third quarter of this year, NuviPhone sports a sleek touchscreen display, mobile web browser, integrated camera module, Bluetooth, and WiFi connectivity. It comes with its own custom OS, as well as various Garmin’s cool navigation features. Including Google Local Search integration and real-time traffic information via Garmin Online. Users would also be able to automatically tag their pictures with their current location.
