Sony unveiled the successor of its popular NV-U1 in-car GPS navigation system, the NV-U2. Measures 145 x 87 x 20mm (which is slimmer than its predecessor) and weighs 250 grams (and also lighter), the device offers a 4.8-inch touchscreen display (but larger LCD) with a resolution of 480 x 272, a multimedia player supporting popular audio and video formats (such as MPEG-4), and a brand new GPS receiver, “G Position Plus”, which is said to be more accurate than the one used by NV-U1. No words on pricing and availability at the moment.
