BenQ E72 Cell Phone Officially Announced

BenQ has just officially announced the launch of its Windows Mobile 6-based E72 smartphone. At just 1cm thick, the phone sports a 2-inch 65K colors display, an integrated 2.0 megapixel camera module, VoIP call, and WiFI connectivity. Users can chat with their families or friends on AOL, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ, and Google Talk simultaneously, thanks to BenQ’s instant messaging networks integration. It even offers multi-party chats with others using the same or different network. Not only for chat-lovers, E72 also provides some wondeful features for those with high-mobility needs. Starting from build-in RSS feed reader and subscriptions, email client with push mail technology, to direct download tunes or podcasts.
Moreover, measures 108 x 46.3 x 13.8 mm and weighs 90 grams, BenQ E72 cell phone also features direct audio and music recording, media player (both music and video) with streaming support, microSD card slot (up to 2GB support), and quad-band (850/900/1800/1900) GSM/EDGE network support. It’ll be available soon in Asia Pacific and Europe regions in the fourth quarter of 2007.
