Cricket Communications has just announced the availability of Kyocera’s Lingo in U.S market. Measures 3.94 x 1.97 x 0.79-inches and weighs 3.5 ounces, the clamshell PDA phone sports a high-end ergonomic design, full QWERTY keyboard, an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera, voice recognition, dual-color displays, Bluetooth connectivity, and build-in speaker. A productivity tools are provided as well, including a scheduler, calculator, alarm clock, stopwatch, tip calculator, countdown timer, and voice memos. Moreover, it supports Cricket’s Mobile Web and Cricket’s Games & Apps services. The former allows users to browse news, entertainment, and sports; chat; and personalize their cell phones with ringtones and graphics; while the latter lets users download and play a bunch of Java games.
Kyocera Lingo PDA phone is currently available at select Cricket retail stores and dealers with a price tag of $199.99. Oh, one more thing, regarding battery, it lasts for up to 3.25 hours (talktime) or 150 hours (standby time).
