HTC P5500 Touch II PDA Phone Makes Its Debut in Japan

HTC releases the second-generation of its Touch series phone in Japan market via DoCoMo network. Goes under the name of HTC HT1100, this impressive PDA phone has a vertical slider mechanism, which is the first in HTC’s phone family. It runs on Windows Mobile 6 Professional edition operating system and sports a 2.6-inch touchscreen display, 802.11a/b/g WiFI connectivity, GSM/HSDPA support, Bluetooth, an integrated 2 megapixel camera and a 1MP secondary one, SIP support, and a microSD media card slot. Of course, the hot and innovative TouchFLO interface is included as well. The phone measures 112 x 51 x 16.9mm and weighs 130 grams.
The original model name for HTC HT1100 is HTC P55100 Nike Touch II. Currently there’s no words on pricing and availability for the phone.
