I’ve just bought a new TV this afternoon, replacing my old Sharp television which having screen issue at the bottom position. Since I plan to buy either Playstation 3 or XBox 360 Elite, I choose the HD-ready 26LC7R from LG. This 26-inch HDTV features an aspect ratio of 16:9, a contrast ratio of 10,000:1, a brightness of 500cd/m2, a response time of 8ms, a 178 degree viewing angle, and a resolution of 1366 x 768. Moreover, it is equipped with two HDMI inputs, the new XD engine that enhanced the image on-the-fly, and two built-in 7W speakers.

LG 26LC7R LCD TV is retailed for about $586 (today’s exchange rate). It’s the cheapest HD LCD TV at the store. There’s another 26-inch LCD TV (from Haier) which costs around $537, but it’s not HD-ready yet.

I know that I should not expect much from cheap HDTV like this, but I do satisfied with it. However, if I had more space in my room, I’d take the 32-inch (32LC7R) instead.
